DEPOSITS | BALANCE | CANCELLATIONS
Deposits, payments AND cancellations vary with the accommodation owner. Check their individual terms. conditions and policies
We highly recommend travel insurance to cover this possibility (intrastate, interstate and international travellers).
All no-shows and early exits will be charged the full amount for the accommodation which has been held for them. We highly recommend travel insurance to cover this possibility.
Port Douglas on Macrossan, Port Douglas Apartments, Hopzz Group strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances. In the instance of natural disasters (Cyclone, Flooding etc), no refund will be provided should you elect to cancel your holiday.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
The premises are available from 2pm on the day of your arrival and are to be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure.
Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate early arrivals and late departures, the only way to absolutely guarantee early check-in or late check-out is to book an extra day.
You will be supplied with a key/keycode for your property on arrival. On departure these keys must be left in the bowl provided at the property.
A replacement charge of up to $150 per key will be charged as necessary.
Due to local health regulations and Body Corporate By Laws no pets are allowed into holiday rental accommodation.
Due to Body Corporate By Laws towels, linen and clothing is not to be hung on balcony rails, there is a clothing rack supplied in the apartment.
MAINTENANCE AND CALL OUTS
Should a maintenance issue arise during your stay, the property owner will endeavour to contact you by mobile phone. For reasons of safety we reserve the right to enter the property to repair any fault
If a Non Emergency call out is made after 8pm, a minimum service charge of $50per hour will apply.
Breakages and/or damage not caused by normal wear and tear will be billed to your account upon departure. Please note that it is not our intention to charge for the replacement of a broken glass.
CLEANING AND LINEN
The Property is set up with a 'starter kit' . The Property is a smoke free dwelling and must be kept clean and tidy and free of litter (including cigarette butts) at all times. The Property must be left clean and tidy at the end of your reservation. Additional charges will be incurred if extra cleaning of the Property is required. The cost to clean the Property or repair damage to or reinstate the Property, will be charged to the credit card(s) provided.
Under cover car parking is available and the Guest(s) must only use the car parking space(s) allocated to the Property and not interfere with the use of common property by other persons.
No responsibility is taken for any personal items left on the premises during your stay or after departure.
These are non smoking apartments. No smoking inside the apartment or on the balcony.
The Property is a residential premise within the community. The Property is to be used strictly as a residential premise by the Guest(s) and the number of occupants nominated on the Guest Registration Form and not for any other purpose or by any greater number of occupants. If guests exceed the number of nominated guests, each additional guest will be charged at $200 per night.
PROHIBITION ON FUNCTIONS, PARTIES AND SIMILAR GATHERINGS
The use of the Property for functions, parties or other like gatherings is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The use of the Property for such events or other than as a residential premises will result in the termination of your reservation of the Property, your removal from the Property and other costs or expenses (including a Function Fee of $4000) being debited to the credit card(s) provided.
BODY CORPORATE BY-LAWS
The Guest(s) and all other occupants or visitors of the Property will comply with all Body Corporate by-laws and rules applicable to the Property or which regulate the behaviour of occupants of the Property. The Guest(s) and all other occupants and visitors of the Property will not create or permit any noise or other nuisance to occur within or emanate from the Property. Failure to comply with Body Corporate by-laws or rules or the creation or occurrence of noise or other nuisance in or from the Property, may result in the termination of your reservation of the Property and your removal from the Property.
The Guest(s) is responsible for and liable to reimburse the Owner in respect of, any damage to the Property, breakage of chattels or fixtures and fittings in the Property, or any other loss suffered by the Owner as a consequence of the use or occupation of the Property during this reservation. the Owner/s of the Property are not liable for any damages or loss of property, or injury to a Guest or other occupant, visitor or entrant to the Property.
If the property owners believes that these Terms and Conditions have been or are being breached, the property owners may inspect the Property at any time during your reservation upon demand and without notice. The property owner may inspect the Property at all other times during your reservation upon 24 hours verbal notice. Failure to provide required access to the Property may result in the termination of your reservation of the Property and removal from the Property.
If your reservation of the Property is terminated, The property owners representative is authorised to do all things necessary to remove you from the Property, at your cost. If your reservation of the Property is terminated and you are removed from the Property, the Tariff applicable to the balance of your reservation will be forfeited to the Owner of the Property. There will be no refund of the Tariff.
